ELMO IS SCARY!!!!!!!!!!
When I was little Elmo was my favorite person in the world. Or so I was told. I think that little red monsters walking around and talking about baby stuff like what an elephant is or what a horse and cow are and what a moose is and all about animals that I know what they are is scary. They also talk about what the colors are and then they go into saying that some of the animals are those colors. And it starts all over again. So that is why elmo is scary.

Did you know that less than 1% of our country is willing to fight in the war?
Patriotism is when someone is willing to sacrifice for their country. By sacrifice that doesn’t mean giving up television for a while it means going to war and fighting for our freedom. So patriotism does matter. If it didn’t matter we wouldn’t have people who would be willing to sacrifice for us. Our country and other countries need patriotism to matter forever because otherwise we’d all be dead. The people who go and fight for us should be honored. They are willing to die for us so we should show them respect.
To honor these brave people we should celebrate our countries special days that are used to show that we appreciate what the people fighting for us have done. When we celebrate things like the fourth of July then we are showing that we appreciate being free. If we just act like oh whatever it’s just another stupid holiday then we are saying that the people fighting for us shouldn’t be because we don’t care if they die. It’s like saying if you die it won’t effect me. Wrong it will effect you because it is you that they are fighting for. So you should honor those people who are willing to give up their lives to protect us.Don’t act like it’s nothing cause it is something. When you think about saying something bad about the people fighting for us think twice.
So in a world were we have people who don’t know if patriotism matters the answer is yes and people who think different should be taught why patriotism matters. If they don’t learn they will continue to think that the people fighting for us don’t matter and if they think that the people fighting for us don’t matter then people might not want to sacrifice themselves for us and that would be sad. So this is why patriotism does matter now and it will matter many years to come.
